Texans security guards were fired for taking a photo with Tom Brady

Getting a picture with Tom Brady can get you in trouble, especially if work for the opponent's home stadium. Two security guards working the Texans' home game against Brady's New England Patriots on Sunday told Houston television station KHOU that they were fired for posing for a photo with the quarterback after New England's 34-31 victory.
One of the part-time guards at Reliant Stadium, Joel Williams, explained to KHOU that he was aware that as part of securing the area around the locker room, he wasn't allowed to "take pictures with anybody." But before ending his shift, Williams happened to see Brady and congratulate him on the game, before saying hello and posing with the Patriots' star. It caused Williams to be immediately approached by a supervisor and having his employment terminated.

Williams contends because the encounter happened while he was about to be off the clock, there's no good reasoning for him or fellow guard Christopher Moore, who also posed with Brady, to be fired.
"Throw away all the trash from the sidelines, escort all the people out, then we’re through.” Williams said.
Maybe if the Houston Texans weren't 2-10 and had just lost to their AFC nemesis, things might have been different. Williams, a college student, may no longer have his cool job, but he's got the memory of a lifetime for meeting a living legend.
